International Chart-Topping Music Artist Gloria Estefan
In this episode, we interview international chart-topping music artist Gloria Estefan. A winner of three Grammy Awards, her amazing hits include “Conga”, “Rhythm is Gonna Get You”, “Cuts Both Ways”, “Get On Your Feet”, and “Don’t Wanna Lose You”. Her music sales surpass more than 75 million worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time and the most successful female Latin crossover artist ever.
In this interview Gloria discusses her recent album Brazil305, released last year (2020) and debuting #8 on the top worldwide album chart. She also talks about her upcoming movie with Andy Garcia, a new warm & funny incarnation of the classic “Father of the Bride” movie which just began filming earlier this month. We reflect on her performance 25 years ago at the closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics, as well as her incredibly inspirational recovery from the 1990 bus crash. Gloria also shares how she & her husband Emilio have celebrated more than 40 years of marriage.
