Doug E Doug (Douglas Bourne) has an incredible 30-year career as an actor, comedian, director, producer, and a writer. He is well-known to movie viewers for his starring role as Jamaican bobsledder “Sanka Coffie” in the movie Cool Runnings. Doug recently released his first book, called “The Fall of ’87: A Dope Novel”, a stand-alone mystery about a young black man in Brooklyn who embarks on a spiritual odyssey to solve a murder.

Doug E Doug was born in Brooklyn, New York and started off his career as a stand-up comic at the age of 17. He was seen first at the Apollo Theater by Russell Simmons, who asked Doug to write & host The New Music Report. Spike Lee also discovered Doug at the Apollo and included him in his film Mo' Better Blues, a musical comedy with Denzel Washington & Wesley Snipes.

Early in Doug's career he worked as a summer school English teacher and writing coach, so he used these skills recently to write his new (& first) book, “The Fall of '87: A Dope Novel”.

Edgy, gritty and intensely visual in his unique style, and gifted in crafting lush new Fantasy and Sci-Fi worlds, Matt cites Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu, Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve as his creative influences, with The Revenant and Blade Runner as two of the films that shaped him most as a filmmaker.
Matt has directed several award-winning festival films, including supernatural thriller The Key (2017 LA Independent Film Fest — Best Action Thriller Short) and dystopian sci-fi project The Return (2016 End of Days Film Fest — Finalist, Best Director). An accomplished Director of Photography as well, Matt was cinematographer on the popular and well-known faith documentaries Holy Ghost (2014), Father of Lights (2012), and Furious Love (2010) directed by Darren Wilson.

Loretta Swit is best known for her role as Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan on M*A*S*H, the incredibly popular TV series that ran for 11 seasons and is still in syndication more than 45 years later. Loretta is an award-winning actress, having won two EMMY’s and recently was honored with the Icon Award at the Annual Oscars party. She’s also an amazing artist and founder of the SwitHeart Animal Alliance, a non-profit organization working to prevent animal cruelty and end animal suffering.

Throughout his lifetime, he served as a trusted spiritual advisor to many U.S. presidents and world leaders and impacted the lives of many public figures.

The 72-minute film offers a unique look into the life of the minister, who passed away in February 2018. The documentary details Graham’s journey as a dairy farmer’s son, who rose to prominence, becoming one of the most important religious leaders in modern history.

It showcases his work during the civil rights movement in the United States, behind the Iron Curtain in Eastern Europe, and through many pivotal moments in world history. It also features interviews with prominent broadcasters and personalities, including Tom Brokaw, Larry King, Charles Gibson, Kathie Lee Gifford and Brit Hume.

Angela CartwrightBorn in Cheshire, England, Angela moved with her family to Los Angeles, California and started her acting career at the age of 3 playing Paul Newman’s daughter in the movie Somebody Up There Likes Me. At the tender age of four Angela was cast to play Linda Williams for 7 years on the hit television series The Danny Thomas Show as Danny’s daughter.

Angela was then cast as Brigitta von Trapp in the legendary film The Sound of Music.  Shortly after she was offered the role of Penny Robinson the iconic television show, Lost in Space. Angela has guest starred in numerous television shows, commercials and movies over her six decade career in show business.
She married in 1976, raised two children and is a Grandmother of three.

Casey Dreier, The Planetary SocietyCasey Dreier is the Chief Advocate & Senior Space Policy Adviser at The Planetary Society, the world’s largest independent space outreach organization. In this interview we discuss season 2 of National Geographic’s Mars TV series, as well as The Planetary Society’s Lightsail 2 project and the United States Space Force.

As Chief Advocate & Senior Space Policy Adviser, Casey leads the strategic planning and implementation of The Planetary Society's policy and advocacy efforts. This includes working closely with other policy representatives in the space community, educating legislators and congressional staffers and organizing Planetary Society members to become active space advocates. He also educates the public about space policy and history through writing, his monthly Space Policy Edition podcast and unique online course offerings such as Space Advocacy 101.

In 2015, Dreier led The Planetary Society’s Humans Orbiting Mars initiative, which explored the potential for a step-wise, long-term mission to send humans to the surface of Mars. The report provided important information and analysis for NASA’s Mars planning and helped influence thinking for lunar and Mars exploration efforts.

Dreier is a trusted source for space policy analysis for journalists and has been featured as a source in many general interest publications including the New York Times, the Washington Post, The Atlantic, Scientific American, Vox and The Verge, to name a few. He is committed to demystifying the politics and policy of space for all audiences and has been an invited speaker at conferences such as The Atlantic's Washington Ideas Week and Politicon.

He is also an instructor at Western Washington University, where he teaches the occasional class on space history and policy.

Casey is one of the “Big Thinkers” for National Geographic's Mars series, along with Elon Musk, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Andy Weir, Robert Zubrin, and more. Season 2 premiered on November 12, 2018 and shows what life in a Mars colony will be like after human settlement.

He was Neil Armstrong's one & only authorized biographer, obtaining 55 hours of audio recordings and 800 emails during his interviews with Neil (plus a few rounds of golf along the way). First Man has been adapted into a movie, with Dr. Hansen serving as a consultant, releasing October 2018 by Universal Pictures. The movie is directed by Academy Award winner Damien Chazelle and stars Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong.

Dr. Hansen is the Professor Emeritus of History at Auburn University in Alabama. He’s an expert in aerospace history and the history of science and technology.

]]> Michael Benson works at the intersection of art and science. A writer, artist, and filmmaker, his new book, Space Odyssey: Stanley Kubrick, Arthur C. Clarke, and the Making of a Masterpiece examines the four year long production of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and was published on the 50th anniversary of that film’s release. During the last decade Benson has staged a series of increasingly large-scale shows of planetary landscape photography internationally. He takes raw data from planetary science archives and processes it, creating large-format landscapes. He edits, composites, mosaics, and then finally optimizes these images, producing seamless photographs of landscapes currently beyond direct human experience. His show Otherworlds: Visions of our Solar System, featuring an original new hour-long ambient composition by Brian Eno titled Deep Space, opened in the Jerwood Gallery of the Natural History Museum in London on January 22nd, 2016. It has since been exhibited at Vienna’s Natural History Museum, the Queensland Museum in Brisbane, Australia, and in Barcelona, Spain, at the CosmoCaixa museum. Otherworlds contains 77 large format digital C prints.  Benson’s previous book, Cosmigraphics: Picturing Space Through Time, came out in October 2014 and was a finalist for a Los Angeles Times Book Award.
