In this episode we interview Hannah Baiardi, a jazz/soul crossover composer and musician. She first discovered her talent for piano and songwriting at when she was just three-years-old! Hannah later studied jazz in college, releasing her first EP in 2018. Most recently Hannah released her new single, “What Will Our Children Say”, a rally cry for a better future.

Composer Hannah Baiardi started playing piano and writing her first songs when she was three. Learning by ear, she started studying piano from a young age, quickly moving into jazz at age seven and learning Oscar Peterson transcriptions by ear. Since studying jazz at the University of Michigan, Hannah has become an adept composer, arranger, lyricist and bandleader. She has made it her mission to break barriers between genres and debunk musical stereotypes. Trying to find a happy medium between pop, R&B and Contemporary Jazz, Hannah’s music evokes deep feelings and contemplation. Her lyrics radiate empowering messages of hope and her music is listenable and relatable.

After the 2018 release of her first EP “The Quietest Place,” Hannah is finding her voice as a rising crossover artist with her latest singles, “Who Can Relate” and “Distant Land.” She currently resides in her hometown/college-town of Ann Arbor, MI.
